Rogna Jurecko, LPC
Compassionate counseling for individuals, couples, and those navigating grief — grounded in authenticity, respect, and over 25 years of experience.
About
For more than 25 years, I've dedicated my career to helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and hope. I began my professional journey as a liaison for children with disabilities, working to strengthen communication between families and schools so that every child could receive the support they deserved.
As my work evolved, I became increasingly drawn to the broader systems that shape our emotional wellbeing — the family relationships, life experiences, and personal stories that influence how we connect and cope.
During my time at Highmark Caring Place, a center for grieving children, adolescents, and their families, I discovered a deep passion for grief work and the healing power of empathy and shared understanding.
In my counseling practice, I offer a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their emotions, strengthen their relationships, and move toward healing and growth. My approach is grounded in authenticity, respect, and collaboration — meeting each client where they are and walking alongside them as they work toward greater balance and wellbeing.

Healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and valued for who you are.
Services
My role as your therapist is to create a safe, judgment-free counseling space to assist you in improving your quality of life. We will explore the history that has made you who you are today and the behavioral patterns that may not be working for you. We will consider various techniques to manage stress, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and increase peace and happiness in your life.
There is no timeline for grief and no right way to grieve. Grief can look and feel different from day to day — even hour to hour — and the pain can sometimes feel endless. I will walk beside you through your grief journey, offering support as you learn to cope with the loss of your loved one and begin to find moments of comfort, connection, and healing along the way.
Every relationship has its own strengths, challenges, and needs. When those needs go unmet, partners can begin to feel disconnected or misunderstood. In our work together, we'll identify the unique strengths within your relationship and use them as a foundation for growth. My goal is to help both partners feel more fulfilled, supported, and deeply connected to one another.
There is no timeline for healing — only the courage to begin.
Statement of Inclusivity
I am committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every individual who walks through my door. I believe that healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and valued for who you are.
I honor and respect all identities, including race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and ability. I recognize that each person's lived experience is unique and shaped by many intersecting factors. My goal is to meet each client with openness, curiosity, and respect — creating a therapeutic space where you can bring your full self without fear of judgment.
Everyone deserves access to compassionate, quality mental health care. In my practice, I strive to cultivate an atmosphere of belonging, where diversity is celebrated and where every individual feels supported in their journey toward growth, healing, and self-understanding.
